How many pages do I need?
Most families end up with about 70–90 pages, but there’s no need to decide upfront.
You can start small and add pages at any time as the year unfolds. Many families choose one of our curated bundles, which include extra pages upfront and offer discounted pricing on additional pages later, compared to adding everything à la carte.
Do you offer discounts?
Yes. We offer curated bundles that combine extra pages, features, and built-in savings compared to purchasing everything individually.
If you start with one of these bundles, you’ll also have the flexibility to upgrade within the first 30 days if you’d like a bigger bundle.
If you start by purchasing items à la carte, you can always add pages and features later — just without the bundled discounts.
What happens when the subscription ends?
Nothing disappears.
You can still log in anytime to:

Make edits
Download your content
Order additional copies of your book
The QR codes in the printed book will continue to work and link to videos.
An active subscription simply gives you time to add new content.
The subscription does not renew automatically. If you need more time, you can manually renew.

When do I receive the printed book?
Your book ships after you finish creating it and place your print order — typically around your baby’s first birthday.
Printing and shipping within the U.S. and Canada usually takes 10–15 business days once the order is placed. International shipping times vary by location.
How is this different from Shutterfly or Mixbook?
If you’re looking for a traditional, one-time photo book project, Baby Yearbooks may look similar at first glance.
But Baby Yearbooks was designed to be something better. Here are a few key differences:

Photos are just the beginning. Baby Yearbooks lets parents include short videos, each linked to a QR code printed right on the page. Scan to watch first steps, hear giggles, and relive real moments — directly from the book.

Milestones, Watch Me Grow, Talking Family Tree, and Growth Charts aren’t generic layouts — they’re thoughtfully designed, baby-specific pages created by professionals.

How does gift redemption work?
After purchase, you’ll receive a PDF gift certificate that you can print or email to the parents.
When they’re ready, they redeem the certificate and create their account.
Their subscription starts only when parents activate it — not when you purchase the gift.
Will I be in the book?
The baby’s parents create the Baby Yearbook, but they can easily invite you to contribute.
Simply ask them to send you a Request a Story link. You tap it and record a short video, add a photo, or share a memory — and your story will appear in the book.
There’s nothing to install and no technical skill required. It only takes a minute.

When does the subscription start?
If you’re creating the book yourself: the subscription starts when you create your account.
If this is a gift: the subscription starts when the recipient creates their account — not when you purchase.
In either case, if the baby hasn’t arrived yet, the subscription automatically adjusts to include those early months.
Does the gift certificate ever expire?
No. Gift certificates never expire. They can be redeemed anytime. App Subscriptions start only when the parents activate it.
What if the book isn’t finished within the first year?
That’s completely normal — and not a problem at all.
With Baby Yearbooks, parents add stories gradually over time. Everything remains safely in their account.
If the book isn’t ready to print after the first year, there’s no pressure. You can simply extend access for a short time whenever you’re ready to add final touches and place the order. There’s no deadline, and nothing is ever lost if life gets busy.
Many families also choose to begin a Baby’s Second Year book, which naturally includes another year of access — making it easy to finish both books together when the time feels right.
