We know your Baby Yearbook may contain some of your family’s most personal memories. Here are the most important things we want you to know about how we treat them.
Your content belongs to you.
Your photos, videos, audio recordings and stories remain yours.
We don’t sell your family content.
We do not sell, rent or license your photos, videos, audio recordings or stories to advertisers or other companies.
We don’t upload your photos to AI.
We do not upload your family photos to artificial intelligence services or use them to train AI models.
Your family memories are private.
Your photos, videos, stories and recordings are not publicly searchable. We use your content only as necessary to provide Baby Yearbooks — including storing and displaying your memories, providing the features you choose to use, creating your book, providing customer support when needed, and producing your finished book.
This is personal for us, too.
Our founder’s daughter uses Baby Yearbooks for his granddaughter, so the photos, videos and family memories we’re protecting aren’t just our customers’ — they include our own family’s as well.

This Privacy Policy is issued by LifeTales Corp., a Canadian corporation operating as “Baby Yearbooks” (“Baby Yearbooks,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
Baby Yearbooks operates its website, applications and related services (collectively, the “Services”) to allow customers to create, store and purchase personalized keepsakes. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and otherwise process personal information when you visit or use the Services, make a purchase, or otherwise communicate with us.

We do not upload User Content to artificial intelligence services for the purpose of training AI models, and we do not use User Content to train artificial intelligence models.
We process User Content only as necessary to provide and operate the Services. This may include storing and displaying your content, providing product features, producing printed products, and providing customer support. Service providers working on our behalf may process User Content when necessary to perform these functions and are expected to handle it in accordance with our instructions.
We may use information about your use of Baby Yearbooks — such as features you use, purchases you make or your account status — to communicate with you about Baby Yearbooks, improvements to the Services, and related products or services in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
You are responsible for making sure you have any rights or permissions required to upload User Content involving other people.

We may collect personal information:
- Directly from you when you create an account, make a purchase, upload content or contact us.

6. Relationship with Shopify
Our ecommerce Services are hosted by Shopify. Shopify processes personal information in order to provide and improve its platform. Information submitted through the Services may therefore be transmitted to Shopify and to service providers located outside your country or jurisdiction.
In some circumstances, Shopify may process personal information as an independent data controller, including in connection with certain platform-level services and improvements.

7. Children’s Information
Baby Yearbooks is intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
Adult users may upload photos, videos, stories and other User Content containing information about children. We process that information at the direction of the adult user for the purpose of providing the Services.
If you believe personal information about a child has been improperly provided to us, please contact us so that we can investigate and take appropriate action.
8. Security and Retention
We use reasonable administrative, technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
