How many pages do I need?
Most families end up with about 100–150 pages, but there’s no need to decide upfront.
You can start small and add pages at any time as the year unfolds. Many families choose one of our curated bundles, which include extra pages upfront and offer discounted pricing on additional pages later, compared to adding everything à la carte.
Can I add extra pages if I need them?
Yes. You can add extra pages at any time as your book grows.
If you start by choosing your book individually, you’ll begin with 20 pages included and can add more whenever you need.
Our curated bundles include more pages upfront, along with meaningful savings and discounted pricing on any additional pages as your book grows.
What happens when the subscription ends?
Nothing disappears.

Download your content
Order additional copies of your book
The QR codes in the printed book will continue to work and link to videos.
An active subscription simply gives you time to add new content.
The subscription does not renew automatically. If you’d like more time to continue creating, you can renew your subscription:

• Annual: $59.88 ($4.99/month)
Or, if you’re continuing your child’s story, you can start the next year by purchasing another book or bundle — which includes a new 12-month subscription.
Your subscription gives you full access to create books for all your children during that time.
What's a story and how easy is it to add to my book?
A story is a is a single post in your baby's book, made up of any combination of photos, videos, video or audio narrations or text. All it takes is a couple of seconds to upload to your book.
You can try adding a story yourself with our demo. In the demo, you’ll add a memory to Emma’s book — just like parents and family do in Baby Yearbooks.

When do I receive the printed book?
Your book ships after you finish creating it and place your print order — typically around your baby’s first birthday.
Printing and shipping within the U.S. and Canada usually takes 10–15 business days once the order is placed. International shipping times vary by location.
How is this different from Shutterfly or Mixbook?
If you’re looking for a traditional, one-time photo book project, Baby Yearbooks may look similar at first glance.
But Baby Yearbooks was designed to be something better. Here are a few key differences:
Videos — inside the printed book
Photos are just the beginning. Baby Yearbooks lets parents include short videos, each linked to a QR code printed right on the page. Scan to watch first steps, hear giggles, and relive real moments — directly from the book.
Special pages designed specifically for a baby’s first year
Milestones, Watch Me Grow, Talking Family Tree, and Growth Charts aren’t generic layouts — they’re thoughtfully designed, baby-specific pages created by professionals.
A much easier process
Instead of a single, overwhelming project at year-end, parents add memories gradually throughout the year — usually in just a few minutes at a time. When it’s time to print, everything is already organized.
That’s why busy parents actually finish this book.
Better value as the book grows

What about if I have twins?
Congratulations — twins, how exciting!
If you'd like one book for each child, you would purchase twice.
Alternatively, you can choose to create one book for both babies. The only limitation is that a few features — Milestones, Watch Me Grow, and the Growth Chart — are designed for a single child.
Gift FAQs
How does gift redemption work?
After purchase, you’ll receive a link to a PNG or PDF gift certificate that you can print or email to the parents.
When they’re ready, they redeem the certificate and create their account.
Their subscription starts only when parents activate it — not when you purchase the gift.
When does the subscription start?
If you’re creating the book yourself: the subscription starts when you create your account.
If this is a gift: the subscription starts when the recipient creates their account — not when you purchase.
In either case, if the baby hasn’t arrived yet, the subscription automatically adjusts to include those early months.
Does the gift certificate ever expire?
No. Gift certificates never expire. They can be redeemed anytime. App Subscriptions start only when the parents activate it.
What if the book isn’t finished within the first year?
That’s completely normal — and not a problem at all.
With Baby Yearbooks, parents add stories gradually over time. Everything remains safely in their account.
If the book isn’t ready to print after the first year, there’s no pressure. You can simply extend access for a short time whenever you’re ready to add final touches and place the order. There’s no deadline, and nothing is ever lost if life gets busy.
Many families also choose to begin a Baby’s Second Year book, which naturally includes another year of access — making it easy to finish both books together when the time feels right.
